LUX Center for the Arts presents Gail Kendall’s “New Works”. This show opens Friday, November 1, from 5p.m. to 8p.m. and runs through November 30. The LUX is honored to feature the most recent works of renowned local potter Gail Kendall. Kendall is known for her exquisitely beautiful ceramics. Her “New Works” show is inspired by 13th-18th century European earthenware, each piece is elaborate and graceful in both form and surface. This show is sponsored by Garner Industries.
The LUX’s annual Wrappables: Art for Giving (& Getting) show also starts November 1 and will be available for viewing and purchasing through December 24.Wrappables is a two month long event where persons can come view and purchase from a large selection of artist-made gifts at a variety of price ranges, including: necklaces and earrings; ceramic mugs, plates, and teapots; scarves and gloves; landscape photographs, hand-blown glass bowls or ornaments, and original paintings. Buyers will be able to purchase and take works of art with them the same day.
