The Lied Center for Performing Arts at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln is proud to announce that long-time employee Eileen Brewster has been named an “Outstanding Frontline Employee” by the Nebraska Tourism Commission. Brewster, Ticket Office Manager at the Lied Center, was nominated by a group of her colleagues for decades of outstanding service to Nebraska’s Home for the Arts.
Brewster began her work for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1982 as a cashier at the School of Music’s Kimball Hall. She began her career with the Lied Center for Performing Arts just prior to its Grand Opening in February 1990. Brewster’s nomination cited her hardworking and accommodating demeanor as two of the many reasons she deserved to be recognized.
The Lied Center for Performing Arts is a state-of-the-art performing arts facility.
