Get ready Lincoln, Raising Cane’s is coming to a neighborhood near you! In 2014, Raising Cane’s is slated to open two new stores–the first in late February at 28th and Cornhusker Hwy. The second is planned to open in the fall and its location has yet to be disclosed.
The expansion will give Caniacs four unique Raising Cane’s restaurants to enjoy. With each new restaurant opening, 65 new jobs will be created here in Lincoln. Positions are both full-time and part-time, including two salaried managers, several hourly managers and hourly crewmembers. With flexible scheduling, this is a great opportunity for high school and college students who are looking for a part time job that pays above the industry average.
Managers and Crewmembers are currently being interviewed to get ready for the newest restaurant opening. Those looking for a flexible and fun opportunity can apply within’ any of the stores or online at caniaccareers.com to join the team. Some benefits include casual dress code, holidays off, a fun work environment, and an opportunity to advance—over 85% of current Shift Managers were internally promoted. Rewarding and showing appreciation to crewmembers is just one thing that sets Raising Cane’s apart from other companies. From iPads, Plasma TV’s, gift cards and concert tickets, to store closings for crew appreciation parties—Cane’s believes happy crewmembers play a big part in carrying out one of their main values—HAVE FUN—which in turn creates great experiences for all their guests.
Raising Cane’s has one love — chicken fingers — and focuses its menu offering on fresh, made-to-order chicken fingers paired with their homemade Cane’s sauce, grilled Texas Toast brushed with garlic butter, creamy Cole slaw and crinkle-cut French fries. Both Lincoln Franchises, located at 48th & R and 14th & P, as well as the two new franchises opening in 2014, are owned by Justin & Jennifer Jones, who moved to Nebraska from Baton Rouge, LA. Since opening their first location in 2006, they have set out to make a change in their community by becoming active community leaders.
