The Lincoln Human Resource Management Association (LHRMA) has announced their April meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 8th at Country Inn & Suites. This will be a luncheon from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m., followed by a workshop from 1:15 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. The program features a presentation by national speaker Minjon Tholen from Cook Ross on the topic of Unconscious Bias. Join us for thought-leading discussions surrounding how decisions are made by well-intended people who have no idea about the unconscious process they use to make decisions. This presentation explores a number of strategies that will help create workplace cultures in which employees can actively “unconceal” perceptions and patterns that have been hidden.
All members of the community are invited to attend LHRMA meetings. Registration can be completed online, with a deadline of Friday, April 4th.
LHRMA provides Human Resource Management professionals the opportunity to interchange ideas, experiences, and practices while promoting professional ethics and acquaintanceship. The organization is comprised of 400 HR professionals from the greater Lincoln area and welcomes new members.
