The Alzheimer’s Association’s annual Gala is set for Saturday, January 24, 2015. This year’s event builds upon the success of the 2014 event. Mardi Gras Masquerade (Masks encouraged, but not required!) will be held at The Cornhusker Marriott Hotel, with cocktails at 5:30 and the Gala beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Adding to the excitement of silent auction text bidding by Qtego is entertainment by Jazz trumpeter Darryl White. The Gala committee, under the leadership of Co-Chairs Kim Kallhoff and Josh Wolfe, is busy preparing a wonderful evening highlighted by culinary creations concocted by Chef Harding at the Cornhusker, hurricanes, beignets, and chicory coffee to celebrate the feel of New Orleans, and the always popular live and silent auction, star gifts, and the Champagne and Diamonds drawing, which features a $1500 jewelry piece donated by A.T. Thomas Jewelers.

Special thanks to all of the committed sponsors, which include presenting sponsor HoriSun Hospice, Country House Residences, Hospice Community Care, Runza, Sandhills Publishing, Health at Home Consultants, Bryan Health, and Phat Jack’s BBQ.

Tables, sponsorships, and individual tickets are now available at alz.org/nebraska, by email to mfeit@alz.org, or by calling the office at (402) 420-2540. Donated items are also being accepted for the silent and live auction. Gifts to the Alzheimer’s Association are tax-deductible.
