Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach (www.mtkserves.org), in collaboration with the Nursing and Physician Assistant Programs at Union College, hosted the Annual Back to School Children’s Foot Clinic on Monday, August 10th. This annual event provided 100 low-income and homeless children with free foot care, new socks and shoes, and school supplies. The event also included fun activities for children such as face painting, chalk art, and balloons. Paul Mitchell School of Hair Design was also on hand to provide free haircuts.
“The Back to School Children’s Foot Clinic is always a highlight of the summer at Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach. We are grateful for the opportunity to continue this collaboration with Union College. It is a terrific way to get children prepared and excited for the new school year,” said Susanne Blue, Executive Director.
