Lincoln’s first stand-alone Chick-fil-A® restaurant located at 6800 S. 27th Street opened on October 28, bringing nearly 80 new jobs, the chain’s signature “First 100” celebration with 100 adults winning free Chick-fil-A meals for a year, and the opportunity for community members to donate books that will benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Lancaster County.

Chick-fil-A (www.chick-fil-a.com) believes in partnering with organizations that enrich education, literacy and youth. In that spirit SouthPointe Pavilion Chick-fil-A Operator Charlie Colón and his team collected new children’s books for the Boys & Girls Club of Lancaster County, on whose board he sits. The books will be placed in a nearly three-foot Book House to serve as a free library exchange – allowing anyone to take a book after replacing it with one of their own.

Featuring the chain’s newest Heritage interior and kitchen design, the Lincoln location can seat 127 guests. Customers will be able to stay connected through the restaurant’s free Wi-Fi and parents will appreciate the indoor play area which includes an interactive section for toddlers. The restaurant is open Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. until 10 p.m., serving a full breakfast menu until 10:30 a.m. Like all Chick-fil-A restaurants, it will be closed on Sunday.
