LUX Center for the Arts (www.luxcenter.org) presents “Wrappable: Gifts From The Heart.” This exhibition will have an opening reception November 6 from 5-8 p.m.
Give the gift of original, handmade art this holiday season! Local, regional, and national artists will sell work including pottery, paintings, photographs, framed prints, jewelry, textiles, wearables, and woodwork at a range of prices in this exhibition. Buyers will be able to purchase works of art and take them home the same day. This event is perfect for finding a unique gift for the special someones in your life! “Wrappable” work will be available for purchase through December 24.
Shop holiday hours beginning December 2: Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Open Christmas Eve from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. New Work by Lauren Mabry will continue to be featured in the Folsom Gallery through November 27. Mabry treats each of her large wheel-thrown cylinders like a canvas, covering each surface with painterly marks in a range of colors and textures.
