Online Sensation Belle & The Bear Opens Brick-and-Mortar Store in Piedmont

Belle & The Bear (belleandthebearshop.com), an online store specializing in children’s footwear, recently hosted the grand opening of its new brick-and-mortar store on October 23rd.

The grand opening was held in the new physical location for Belle & The Bear, located at 1265 S. Cotner Blvd. Suite 14 on the north edge of The Shoppes at Piedmont next to the Edward Jones office. The event featured activities for the whole family, snacks, and the boutique selection of children’s shoes that has made Belle & The Bear a huge sensation among new mothers.

Belle & The Bear was started in owner Shala McFall Hruska’s basement, with her sewing baby moccasins and selling them on etsy. Over the next two years, with the help of its amazing customers, Belle & The Bear grew quickly. In spring of 2015, Shala realized that she needed a storefront for her local customers to try on shoes, but wanted to take it one step further. Shala decided to open a kids’ shoe store offering the baby moccasins that Belle & The Bear is known for, but also other shoes for infants, toddlers, and the bigger kids.
