The School Community Intervention & Prevention (SCIP) Program Welcomes New School Coordinator Abbe Edgecombe

The School Community Intervention & Prevention (SCIP) Program (www.scipnebraska.com) has announced the hiring of Abbe Edgecombe as SCIP Coordinator for Lincoln/Lancaster County.

Abbe is a native of Lincoln, NE and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Development and Family Relationships from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and is currently working on her Master’s Degree in Family and Community Service at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.  In her position with SCIP, Abbe will work with both public and private schools within Lancaster County.

SCIP is a state-wide program designed to bring together families, school, and the community to support student behavioral and emotional health.  Our mission is to provide an effective prevention and early intervention process for youth with behavioral health concerns so they may achieve healthy, productive lives.

SCIP is a program of Lincoln Medical Education Partnership, 4600 Valley Road, Lincoln.
