Lincoln Wine and Food Experience to Again Benefit Lincoln Community Playhouse
The 2016 Lincoln Wine and Food Experience (LincolnWineAndFoodExperience.com) will be held at the Embassy Suites on Friday, February 26 from 5–8 p.m. This is the eighth year for the event, which has become a favorite of Lincoln-area wine lovers. The Lincoln Wine and Food Experience, presented by Russ’s Market, has raised more than $250,000 for the Lincoln Community Playhouse over the last seven years.
Approximately 90 booths will fill the main ballroom, offering an international selection of wines. Foodies can sample fine cheeses, gourmet desserts, Nebraska beef and other unique items. Russ’s Market bakers will be making several varieties of fresh Stone Hearth breads at the event. In addition to the main ballroom, reserve room guests will enjoy an exclusive selection of reserve wines and a buffet prepared by Russ’s Market Catering to You.
The goal for this year’s Lincoln Wine and Food Experience is $40,000, which includes proceeds from a silent auction. General admission tickets for the main ballroom are $40 in advance, $50 at the door. Advance tickets for the reserve room are $60, $70 at the door. Those holding reserve room tickets may enjoy both the main ballroom and reserve room beginning at 4 p.m. Tickets are on sale at Russ’s Market locations in Lincoln.
