Trimming the Trees at The Monarch

On December 6th, over 40 people gathered at The Monarch (http://eastmonttowers.com/end-of-life-care) for their annual Tree Trimming event. The Monarch partners with local hospice providers to give patients and their families a home-like atmosphere for end-of-life care. At the Tree Trimming event, family members and friends were encouraged to bring an ornament to hang on one of the three Monarch Christmas trees in memory of their loved one. These ornaments are then hung each year in remembrance of those who have been at The Monarch. The holidays can be a tough time for those dealing with the loss of a loved one and The Monarch staff are pleased that so many were able to join us for an evening of good food, companionship and holiday cheer.
