Youth for Christ to Host “See the Story” Luncheon for Juvenile Justice Ministry Program
Youth for Christ’s Juvenile Justice Ministry (JJM) offers a unique opportunity for all interested in partnering with JJM’s ministry to jailed teens.
It’s called See the Story Luncheon, an on-site lunch and walk-through of the Juvenile Detention Center. You get to eat your lunch in the building in which youth up to 19 years old eat their three meals a day for however long their sentences are. You get to walk through the security check-in, the locked doors, and the closed access hallways which these teens know as their world for a time.
How much time? How many times? You can affect those numbers. Come to the next See the Story Luncheon on January 27th from noon-1 p.m. and find out how you can make a difference for these kids. You really can make a difference. Reserve your spot at the Juvenile Detention Center by emailing JJM chaplain, Eldon Dietrich, at eldond@yfclincoln.org or calling him at (402) 314-8837.
