Lutheran Family Services of Nebraska Names Jannette Taylor Statewide Administrator of Children Services
Lutheran Family Services of Nebraska (LFS; www.lfsneb.org ) is pleased to announce its recent hire of Jannette Taylor to the position of Statewide Administrator of Children Services.
A native of Omaha, Taylor graduated from College of Saint Mary with both a bachelor’s degree in business administration and master’s degree in organizational leadership. She also holds a master’s in negotiation and dispute resolution from the Werner Institute at Creighton University.
Taylor most recently served as the director of programming at the NorthStar Foundation in Omaha, NE. She is the former executive director of United Action for Youth (UAY) based in Iowa City, IA. Prior to accepting the leadership position at UAY, she founded and served as executive director of Impact One Community Connection (IOCC) and served on the steering committee for the Bridge to Success Program, an initiative of the African American Achievement Council.
In her new role, Taylor will provide leadership and direction to the growth of Children Services, the oldest of LFS’ three core competencies. LFS Children Services comprises three divisions: Prevention and Early Intervention, Permanency and Well-Being, and Children’s Behavioral Health.
