The Piedmont Bistro Opens, Hosts Ribbon Cutting

With the recent opening of The Piedmont Bistro (www.piedmontbistro.com), Lincoln’s Piedmont neighborhood now has a new place to dine and connect with friends and neighbors. To mark the occasion, a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce was held on February 5th.

The Piedmont Bistro is a modern take on the original European eateries that were widely known as energetic establishments rooted in neighborhoods. A bistro was the quintessential outlet for hospitality, as it created a welcoming place of comfort and familiarity that made everyone, be it a neighbor or stranger, feel at ease, even if just for a short while. This vibe was aided by sensory elements like the waft of fresh baked bread and hearing a warm greeting from a well acquainted server. It was a place that felt just right.
The Piedmont Bistro hopes to recreate this same kind of experience. The menu offers something for everyone to enjoy and is built around three components: quality Nebraska meats, fresh greens and wholesome grains. The wine list features the wines of the Piedmont region in northern Italy as a way to pay homage to its namesake and highlight one of the great wine regions of the world.

Lunch, Happy Hour, dinner, or late night, you’ll find The Piedmont Bistro a welcome and hospitable environment to enjoy food, drink, and conversation.
