8th Annual Joshua Collingsworth Memorial Benefit Dinner & Auction Set for April 30th
The Joshua Collingsworth Memorial Foundation (www.joshtheotter.org) , well known for its worldwide drowning prevention efforts through Josh the Otter mascot, “Josh the Baby Otter” book, and many community awareness initiatives, has announced it will host its 8th annual benefit dinner and auction on Saturday, April 30th.
The evening will begin at 5 p.m. with a cocktail and social hour followed by dinner, silent auction, live auction, and program. Elliot F. Kaye, Chairman of the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), will be the keynote speaker. The event will be held at the Sesostris Shrine Center, located at 1050 Saltillo Road in Roca, NE. All proceeds from this event will go towards furthering the mission to prevent childhood drowning through early education and JCMF’s “Float 4 Life” program.
To date, over one million children have heard the lifesaving message of Josh the Otter through the help of JCMF’s countless volunteers and partners. With the additional support of social media and the Josh the Otter mobile app, the critical message of safety, prevention and awareness is reaching more people than ever.
Remembering one precious life with the hope and goal of saving many, all are welcome to join in the effort to eliminate childhood drowning.
