Boiler Brewing Company Celebrates Grand Opening

Lincoln now has a new brewery, as Boiler Brewing Company (www.boilerbrewingcompany.com) opened its doors as the newest craft-brewing destination on April 1. Located in the basement of the historic Grand Manse at 129 N. 10th St., Suite 8, this unique location offers a very different atmosphere than most brewery tap rooms with food options and a full serving staff to make sure that your glass never goes dry.

A ribbon cutting with the Lincoln Independent Business Association (LIBA) kicked off the grand opening festivities, followed by Boiler Brewing Company offering guests a tasting of ten unique beers created by Brewmaster Tim Thomssen, winner of the 2015 Sam Adams LongShot Award. This included Raspberry Tart, Hibiscus Saison, Overdone IPA, West Coast Wheat, McLaughlin’s Scottish 70, Mild Obsession, and four different stouts. In addition to these ten beers, Boiler Brewing Company will be rolling out new beers on a consistent basis. There are 24 tap handles available in the tap room to accommodate. As for Thomssen’s LongShot award-winning beer, Raspberry Berliner Weisse, it became available at Boiler Brewing Company on April 22, one day before Sam Adams released it anywhere else.
