Lincoln SCORE Celebrates National Volunteer Week and National Small Business Week
On April 13 Lincoln SCORE (https://Lincoln.score.org) hosted a Lunch & Learn meeting honoring SCORE volunteers and guests in celebrating National Volunteer week (April 10-16) and National Small Business week (May 1-7). The luncheon featured guest speaker, Kathleen Piper, Deputy District Director-US Small Business Administration/Nebraska.
The Lincoln SCORE Chapter was chartered on May 31, 1965 and has been helping create business success in the Lincoln community for over 50 years. SCORE offers free one-to-one mentoring services to individuals who are either interested in starting their own small business or improving the small business they currently run.
Lincoln SCORE offers opportunities to those with business experience (accounting, marketing, technology, planning, etc.) to help promote small business by giving back to the community and sharing their knowledge and experience as a volunteer SCORE mentor.
