Lied Center Announces 2016/2017 Season of World-Class Artists
The Lied Center for Performing Arts (LiedCenter.org) has announced another stellar season highlighting the greatest artists in the world in every art form, beginning Sept. 30 with Broadway, film and television superstar, Idina Menzel.
The Glenn Korff Broadway Series highlights the Lied Center’s 16/17 season with top Broadway musicals including “Once,” Rogers + Hammerstein’s “Cinderella,” “Into The Woods,” “Mamma Mia,” “Defying Gravity” Starring Stephen Schwartz and six performances of Roald Dahl’s “Matilda the Musical” to close the Lied Center’s season.
The Lied Center will also showcase some of the greatest popular music and comedy acts touring the U.S. including country music star Clint Black, blues legend Buddy Guy, comedian Brian Regan, a holiday concert featuring Mannheim Steamroller Christmas by Chip Davis and just in time for election season, The Capitol Steps.
