NeighborWorks Hosts Groundbreaking Ceremony for Antelope Square

On August 30th, NeighborWorks Lincoln (www.nwlincoln.org) and Assurity Life Insurance Company (www.assurity.com) broke ground at the site for Antelope Square, a 24 unit townhome development around 22nd and Q Street. This project is the result of a partnership between NeighborWorks Lincoln and Assurity Life Insurance Company, and has been made possible through the support of community partners including Nebraska Home Sales Realtor Russell Meyer, the City of Lincoln, the Nebraska Department of Economic Development, and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

The development will consist of 24 total townhome units, and will include a mixture of Low-to-Moderate Income units, as well as units that will be sold to market rate clients. The Antelope Square Development will help to strengthen the Hawley Area and Malone neighborhood by supporting economic diversity and providing high quality and affordable housing. Construction is expected to begin soon.
