SP Group Celebrates Team Members’ Milestones

On May 6, Kelsey Appleby, team accountant at SP Group, P.C.(www.spgrouppc.com), participated in the 41st Annual Lincoln Marathon and Half Marathon. As a first-time half marathon runner, Kelsey finished well within her personal goal. By setting this goal, it kept her accountable during tax season to stay in shape during those long hours preparing tax returns. This drive and determination are the embodiment of several of SP Group’s four core values: Life/Work Balance and Competitiveness.

Erica Yound, tax intern at SP Group, P.C., recently graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in accounting. This summer, she will continue her education and begin the Master of Professional Accountancy program at UNL. During this time, she’ll continue to be part of the SP Group team, who are very proud of her accomplishment and look forward to being a part of her future.
