Nebraska Safety Council Recognizes Mark Schlichenmayer with CPR LifeSaver Award
Each year during the Nebraska Safety Council (www.nesafetycouncil.org) Conference and Trade Show, the work of organizations that have made a difference in workplace safety and wellness are recognized by the Nebraska Safety Council. This year, special recognition was given to Mark Schlichenmayer with the CPR LifeSaver Award. Mark, a Paulsen Inc. employee, was present when a coworker dropped down, unresponsive with no pulse or breathing while on the job. Because of Mark’s quick reaction and the CPR training provided by his employer, Mark saved his coworker’s life. Mark was presented his award by Lt. Governor Mike Foley and Executive Director Laurie Klosterboer.
