Tell us a little about your business.

ALLO Communications provides data and voice service solutions for small and medium businesses here in Lincoln and across the state. Our all-fiber network delivers speeds that fit your business’ needs. We’re able to offer crystal-clear phone and TV service. Underneath. As a business sales rep, I’ve had the opportunity to work with multiple dwelling unit owners and property management companies on providing residential internet, phone, and TV services to Lincoln residents at apartments.

How did you get started in the business?

I got started in the communications industry several years ago, working for AT&T Wireless. Then I worked for another telecommunications service provider in business sales for several years before being brought over to ALLO in 2016. I thoroughly enjoy working for ALLO; there are so many awesome people here.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced professionally?

Being in business sales is very rewarding because I get to provide solutions and services that can positively affect my customers’ day-to-day operations. However, it’s a fast-paced work environment so it’s often challenging to stay ahead of all of it.

Tell us a little about your family.

I have two sons. Peyton is a Freshman at Lincoln Southwest High School and Grant is a third-grader at Humann Elementary. They are both active with baseball and football. I love watching them enjoy these activities and helping out when possible.

What is your favorite thing to do on a day off?

Cheering on the Huskers, Broncos, and Yankees. I also enjoy the outdoors, listening to music, and cooking a good meal to eat with family or friends.

What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know?

I was born with four major heart defects and had open heart surgery at the age of three. I also had the amazing experience of working for Husker Football while in college from 1995-1998.

Who inspires you?

Any person who has overcome great adversity or trial in life, and now invests in those who are fighting their way through that same sort of adversity themselves.

What is your favorite quote or the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

One of my favorite Bible verses is Isaiah 43:1-3: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine! When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, nor will the flame burn you. For I am the LORD your God, The Holy One of Israel, your Savior.” I love that God says when, not if.

If you had a theme song, what would it be?

“Beauty of Grace” by Thad Fiscella. There is nothing more beautiful and powerful than Grace. We are all in need of it, but we often are reluctant to give it to others.

Which talent would you most like to have?

I often wish I had an engineering background or expertise. I think my co-workers might wish the same thing if you ask them.

If you could choose any other profession to be successful in, what would it be?

Is there such a thing as a professional world traveler?

What is your favorite book or the last good book you read?

Thin Places by Tim Bohlke.
