LHRMA Partners with Toys for Tots for Annual December Member Social

Lincoln Human Resource Management Association (LHRMA; lincolnhr.org) will be having their annual December member social on December 11 at The Local (2755 Jamie Ln., STE 15) from 4:30 – 7 p.m. This year, LHRMA will be collecting toys for the Marine Toys for Tots campaign. Attendees are asked to bring unwrapped toys for girls and boys, ages 12 and under. The free event will include drink tickets and appetizers.

The mission of the Marine Toys for Tots Program (www.toysfortots.org) is to collect toys for less fortunate children at Christmas. In order to better execute the program, the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation was created in 1991 at the behest of the Marine Corps. Foundation support includes providing administrative, advisory, financial, logistic and promotional support to local Toys for Tots coordinators; managing funds raised and monies donated based on the use of Toys for Tots name or logo; providing other support the Marine Corps, as a federal agency, cannot provide; and conducting public education and information programs about Toys for Tots that call the general public to action in support of this patriotic community action program.
