Friends of Lied to Host Biennial “Table Inspirations” Event

This year’s much-anticipated Table Inspirations event will take place at the Lied Center for Performing Arts on March 19–20, sponsored by the Friends of Lied (www.liedcenter.org). Enjoy 29 creatively decorated tables assembled by Nebraska interior designers and business owners. Proceeds from the event support Lied Center programming and educational outreach across Nebraska.

On Tuesday, March 19 from 6 to 8 p.m. is the Cocktails and Conversation reception. Experience the beauty of the decorated tables amid the backdrop of acoustical duo Tom and Wes, while enjoying fabulous food by Traci Carlson with wine and beer pairings from Meier’s Cork ‘n Bottle. All day, Wednesday, March 20, is the main Table Inspirations event. From 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., guests can tour beautifully decorated tables created by a showcase of Nebraska designers. For those guests interested in honing their own artistic skills, industry expert Joey Lizotte will present tips and tricks during his 11:30 a.m. lecture in the Lied Center Auditorium. The Friends of Lied organization has been supporting the Lied Center for Performing Arts ever since ground was broken for construction 29 years ago.
