Godfather’s Pizza Celebrates 1 Year with Special Appearance of “The Godfather”

On Saturday, April 27, The Godfather himself is coming to Godfather’s Pizza (godfathers.com) off of 33rd and O St. to celebrate the location’s one-year anniversary in Lincoln. Godfather’s Pizza is known for its commercials featuring “The Godfather,” a parody of Marlon Brando’s character, Don Vito Corleone, from the 1972 film, The Godfather. The Godfather can typically be identified by his white fedora hat, pinstripe suit, red tie, and flower on his jacket. He’s also been known to go around saying things like “A pizza you can’t refuse!” and “If you don’t like anchovies, you’ll be sleeping with the fishes.”

The current spokesman is Omaha actor, Dale O’Brien. While at Godfather’s Pizza, customers of all ages will enjoy The Godfather’s flare and charm. Parents are encouraged to bring their kids in so they don’t miss this awesome photo op! There isn’t anything cooler than eating a slice of Godfather’s Pizza with The Godfather himself.
