All Pro – Serving Lincoln for Over 10 Years!
My name is Constantine Syniy.
Eighteen years ago, my family and I moved to Lincoln. I knew right away that Nebraska was going to be a great place to live and work.
About 16 years ago, I fell in love with the HVAC industry. I know that sounds crazy to some people. I get asked all the time, “What is so exiting about your furnaces and A/C units?” I know it doesn’t sound fancy, but the HVAC industry fascinates me for two reasons: the technical side and the business side. I remember years ago, I went to Branson, MO to watch a magic show. As I enjoyed the show, I thought it would be nice to see what was going on behind the scenes. This is why the technical side of my business has always fascinated me. I love maintaining the comfort of a home from “behind the scenes.” It is a lot of fun for me.
The business side is rewarding as well. I have been in business for more than a decade. It is very easy to be successful. I mean it. All you need to do is follow a couple basic steps: be nice, show up on time, do what you say you are going to do, and if you mess up, admit it and fix it as soon as possible. Most people are very forgiving. They typically want to help you succeed. This is why American author Zig Zigler said, “You will get all you want in life, if you help enough other people get what they want.” In my case, I give people comfort in their homes, and this principle has worked for me.
My excitement about business has lead me to start my own podcast. It’s called Zeal2Success. I really want to give back to my community and help other people to start their own business. It’s hard to have your own business, but it’s doable. On my podcast, which launches in May, I am interviewing other businessmen and women, asking them how to be successful. This has become an exciting hobby of mine. Again, it’s like watching a magic show from back stage. I’ve learned that the most successful people have a big desire to help others be successful. I am so happy and privileged to be, not only a service provider, but also a source for inspiration, advice, and encouragement.
Employment is a big part of my business. Sometimes, it feels like a high school and I am a principal. I strongly believe that the millennial generation is our bright future. I observe a lot of young people who want to change the world. It is a good thing. I try to help them to understand that it is not a good idea to enter the professional world and try to change others. Instead, they need to start by adapting and learning from those who have been there longer. My advice to any employee is to watch whom you hang out with, and watch how you spend your time and energy. As you strive to grow as a person and a professional, remember that discomfort is your friend; it is how you grow.
