Hy-Vee Collects Donations for CEDARS

Hy-Vee is known for having a helpful smile in every aisle. Now, shoppers have one more reason to smile. During the month of April, local Hy-Vee locations are getting into the philanthropic spirit by collecting monetary donations for CEDARS (cedarskids.org). Collection boxes will be displayed in checkout lanes. Individuals interested in helping children and their families are encouraged to donate their spare change.

Every day CEDARS works to build stronger families in our community, which ensures that the vulnerable children receive the safety and stability they need to thrive and reach their full potential. For over 70 years, support from caring individuals, families, and like-minded organizations have allowed this work to continue. This past year, CEDARS served 194 families and 2,441 children.
