SP Group, P.C. Gives Update on SP Goes Mobile Initiative

SP Group, P.C. (www.spgrouppc.com) recently launched an initiative known as SP Goes Mobile prior to the current tax season. Dave Swan, managing partner, introduced the idea of a flexible work environment by encouraging the SP Group team to be a part of the “stand up to work” environment. After evaluating several prototype standing desks, the team was equipped with their personal stand up desks.

After incorporating the “stand up at work” concept for the last four months, the results are in. Troy Stentz, enrolled agent and team accountant, says, “My standing desk has been a welcome benefit this tax season. The ability to change positions between standing and sitting has resulted in far less discomfort in my hips and sit bones compared to prior seasons and I feel like I’m more productive when I use my work surface in the standing position.”
