American Heart Association Announces Chairs for Upcoming Signature Events
The American Heart Association (www.heart.org/Lincoln), the nation’s oldest and largest voluntary organization dedicated to fighting heart disease and stroke, has announced the local leaders who will chair its signature events this fall and spring: Go Red For Women, Heart Ball, and Heart Walk.
Kirstin Luber, the culture and communications coordinator for Hexagon, a manufacturing company in Lincoln, is chairing 2019 Lincoln Go Red For Women on October 3 at the Embassy Suites – Lincoln. She has been with Hexagon for five and half years.
Dr. Matthew and KaCey Johnson are chairing the 2020 Lincoln Heart Ball gala on March 7 at the Embassy Suites – Lincoln. Dr. Johnson works all over the state, specializing in cardiovascular disease. Dr. and Mrs. Johnson’s passion for the American Heart Association stemmed from an evaluation of an irregular rhythm Dr. Johnson had in high school.
Kimberly Barrett, Ameritas’ well-being manager, is chairing the 2020 Lincoln Heart Walk, with the date and location still to be announced. Barrett has served the Lincoln community in the health and wellness field for 20 years in a variety of capacities. Over the last 12 years, she has focused on corporate holistic well-being.
