Wilderness Ridge Announces Transition to Members-Only Club in 2021
Since its opening in 2001, Wilderness Ridge Golf Club (www.wildernessridgegolf.com) has been open to the public, but the club recently announced plans to go to a membership-only model for golf starting in 2021. Wilderness Ridge General Manager Chip Cary said the club has been considering the change for a couple of years and discovered this was something members wanted. With the change will come expansion and new amenities. These will include an aquatics complex as well as a new pro shop building that will also house its year-round Nebraska Golf Academy, in addition to a new members-only bar and grill called the 19th Hole and a fitness center. Construction for the new plans will begin in the spring of 2020 and will not affect the 18-hole championship golf course with minimal changes to be made to the nine-hole executive course.
