Junior Achievement Presents Lincoln Bowl-A-Thon

On Saturday, February 22, nearly 2,000 eager bowlers will join Junior Achievement (JA; jalincoln.org) for the Lincoln Junior Achievement Bowl-A-Thon fundraising event. If you’re looking for a fun, impactful, team-building activity this winter for your employees or co-workers, look no further! Get a team of four to six people together for a two-hour game of bowling full of prizes, trivia, and, of course, food and drinks!

Participants can choose the bowling alley (Parkway Lanes, Hollywood Bowl) and the time (morning, afternoon, or evening). Each bowler will raise at least $45 for Junior Achievement, with help from friends, family, co-workers, etc., and then come together for some bowling and socializing! This is a great way to get employees together to facilitate teamwork and fun, so companies are encouraged to consider covering a portion of the registration and/or pledges.

All of the money raised through the Junior Achievement Bowl-A-Thon will go to providing JA programs to nearly 31,000 K-12 grade students in the community! These programs are educating students on financial literacy and entrepreneurship, while preparing them to be a part of the future workforce.
