Apartment Association of Nebraska to Hold Beer Tasting Fundraiser

To celebrate their newly-elected 2020 Board of Directors and to raise money for future legislative action, the Apartment Association of Nebraska (AAN; aaneb.org) will be hosting a Beer Tasting Fundraiser from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Monday, January 13. The event will be run by world-renowned beer connoisseur Russ Webb. Tickets are $35 and include your tasting of craft beers, a full beer of your choice, non-alcoholic beverages, and appetizers.

The AAN plans to use the funds raised by the beer tasting for legislative action on the local, state, and federal level that is beneficial to the multi-housing industry and free enterprise. The AAN actively advocates for high professional standards and sound business methods among its members for the best interest of the industry and the public. Two bills they are currently watching are LB275, which would allow landowners to remove abandoned vehicles off private property, and LB874, which provides positive changes to the Community Development Law.
