Chase Expands Into Nebraska, Opens First Branch in Downtown Lincoln

Chase (Chase.com) recently celebrated its expansion into Nebraska with a new downtown branch by the University of Nebraska–Lincoln campus and plans to open eight more branches in Omaha by 2022, creating about 90 jobs and bringing its financial services closer to Nebraska consumers and businesses. The downtown Lincoln branch opened on December 17 at 144 N. 14th St., STE 100. A ribbon-cutting event was held on January 9 with the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce and other local leaders. Kiley Sidman is Chase’s new market director for banking in the region.

The expansion into Nebraska will add retail and business banking to a market where the firm already serves hundreds of thousands of consumers and local businesses, including clients through its Commercial Bank. Today in Nebraska, Chase serves 285,000 consumer customers and 13,000 businesses. Across the country, Chase serves 62 million households and over four million small businesses.

The Downtown Lincoln branch offers traditional banking services, business banking, and services for more complex needs, like consumer lending and advice. New branches include modern design elements and feature open, collaborative spaces with ample room for meetings and “Chase Chats,” a new series of small group sessions focused on financial health. Customers also have access to the new cardless ATMs that can perform more than 70% of teller transactions, and complement the Chase mobile app and online where they can open an account, pay bills, instantly transfer money, monitor and track their credit, and save money automatically.

Chase is the U.S. consumer and commercial banking business of JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE: JPM), a leading global financial services firm with assets of $2.8 trillion and operations worldwide. For more information, go to Chase.com or call the new Lincoln branch at (402) 975-3790.
