Dietze Music Provides Support for TeamMates Annual Recognition Celebration

TeamMates (lincolnteammates.org) Mentoring of Lincoln held their annual Recognition Celebration on January 30 at Lincoln Station Great Hall. TeamMates extends a special thank you to Dietze Music for their partnership and “instrumental” role in the success of this year’s event, which drew nearly 300 guests. The evening featured a buffet dinner followed by an inspiring presentation and piano performance by Ann Chang, artistic director for the Lied Center for Performing Arts. The awards ceremony portion of the night honored the achievements of TeamMates students, mentors, and facilitators.

TeamMates relies on in-kind donations and support from community partners such as Dietze Music to be able to provide this fun, inspiring annual evening for students and their mentors. Dietze Music has a long-standing history in Lincoln as a reputable music business as well as a fervent supporter of local schools and the community at large.

“If you’re a part of your community, the community will be a part of your business,” said Tim Pratt, president of Dietze Music. “The mission of our founder, August Dietze, was to support musicians in the community, and that is a mission we carry out today. Part of that involves schools. Music education in schools is something I’m really passion about.”

Dietze Music has two Lincoln stores, as well as locations in Omaha and Bellevue. Dietze offers private lessons and sells and repairs an array of instruments and PA equipment along with carrying a varied selection of sheet music. Learn more at dietzemusic.com.
