Basic Motorcycle Training Courses Now Available Through Nebraska Safety Council
The Nebraska Safety Council (www.nesafetycouncil.org) has announced their 2020 basic motorcycle training courses that will run from April 3 and continue throughout the spring, summer, and fall for anyone interested in learning to ride. The course is designed for true beginners, which means students don’t need to have any experience with a motorcycle to participate.
This program is a hybrid of online learning and skills practice on the outdoor motorcycle range. Safety and health are a top priority for the council: classes are limited to six students and the instructor. Motorcycles will be assigned to students and properly cleaned and sanitized. The range is a large, outdoor area where riders will be easily able to maintain personal distances of at least six feet as recommended. The Nebraska Safety Council would like to assure the public they would not offer this course unless they were highly confident they can provide a safe and healthy environment for students and instructors.
