Lincoln COVID-19 Response Fund Established to Help Those Impacted by Coronavirus

Hosted by the Lincoln Community Foundation (LCF) (LCF.org), the Lincoln COVID-19 Response Fund has been established by the City of Lincoln, businesses, and philanthropic partners to rapidly deploy flexible resources to nonprofits in Lincoln that are working with communities disproportionately affected by the coronavirus pandemic. The fund will award operating grants on a rolling basis to nonprofits that support vulnerable populations impacted by the pandemic. Individual donors, institutions, companies, and other funders are encouraged to contribute to the Fund online.

Strategic partners have donated a combined $500,000 to support the fund and provide a proportional match to donations contributed by the community.

A coalition of partners, including the City of Lincoln, Lincoln Community Foundation, United Way of Lincoln and Lancaster County, Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development, Community Health Endowment, and other philanthropic and business partners, will work collaboratively to ensure the fund has maximum reach and effectiveness.

The Lincoln COVID-19 Response Fund will regrant 100% of the donations received. There are no fees assessed by the Lincoln Community Foundation.
