JetSplash Haunted Tunnel Washes More than 1K Cars, Raises $16K for Nonprofits
JetSplash (jetsplash.com) made altruism entertaining for area residents by way of its Haunted Tunnel in October, washing 1,058 vehicles, while raising hairs on the backs of necks and $16,293 for three Lincoln nonprofits—the Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach, People’s City Mission, and Big Brothers Big Sisters. Over the span of three nights, their drive-thru Haunted Tunnel left families with a few screams, a few scared laughs, some goodies, and a super-clean vehicle by the end. With every penny of the proceeds going to the nonprofits, JetSplash selflessly raised $5,431 for each one!
For a $15 donation at the Haunted Tunnel, participants received a $20 JetSplash car wash, complete with a hand-prep, hand-dry, bug-free guarantee, underbody spray, rain repellent, hot wax, rim cleaner, tire shine, total body protectant, and mud blasters – the whole works! Because of the high level of support for the event, they had to extend the event time by an hour on the final night. In the same spirit of community, they gave away free car washes to all veterans and active-duty personnel on Veterans Day, November 11.
JetSplash is not a franchise, but an independent business serving their friends and neighbors in the Lincoln community from their five locations in the city—and a sixth in the making! To learn more, visit jetsplash.com or (402) 420-7760.
