LuLu’s on N Partner Loaves and Fishes to Provide Showers, Laundry to Homeless
Loaves and Fishes, the nonprofit partner of LuLu’s on N (lulusonn.com), has received a grant from the Nebraska United Methodist Foundation that will allow them to create a new program to provide free showers and laundry services to Lincoln’s homeless population. The showers will be offered at Saint Paul United Methodist Church two days per week, and talks are in process for a downtown laundry facility. LuLu’s is proud to continue and expand their partnership with Saint Paul UMC and is grateful that this new program will be helpful to the poor and underprivileged in Lincoln.
Loaves and Fishes is a nonprofit that strives to walk alongside downtown Lincoln’s homeless population, offering them food, support, and basic hygiene items. LuLu’s on N is a walk-up restaurant and full-service caterer in downtown Lincoln. LuLu’s takes care of all your holiday baking needs for you, in addition to providing catering for groups of anywhere from two to 200. Every purchase made directly supports their Loaves and Fishes mission to feed the hungry in Lincoln. They provide community meals at Saint Paul United Methodist Church from 1:30 to 3 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday.
