DreamCatchers Ride Now Brings Horses to People in Need of Emotional Support
DreamCatchers Ride, Inc. (dreamcatchersride.org) has expanded their services to include bringing horses to those who are in need of companionship or emotional support. Their main focus is connecting with retirement communities, rehabilitation facilities, after-school and/or mentoring programs, mental health professionals, and civic organizations, to name a few. Through this new offering, DreamCatchers will bring one or two horses for a visit to your location (outdoor options preferred, horses can’t be housebroken!). They will require access for a truck and trailer, and ask that anyone participating wears a mask—everyone is encouraged to spend hands-on time with the horse(s), though! There will not be any riding at these events.
DreamCatchers Ride, Inc. provides a safe place where, through learning about equine companionship and care, people can be comfortable and able to express themselves.
