DreamCatchers Offers Partnerships to Serve Up Summer Fun for the Entire Team, Family
DreamCatchers Ride (dreamcatchersride.org) has plenteous options for summer fun, and they are available for partnerships with local organizations and families to make memories and build bonds in 2021. Their inexpensive hands-on learning opportunities are perfect for groups and designed to share the bond between horses and humans with people who might not otherwise have the chance to interact with horses in person. They’ll bring a horse or two to your site or meet your group at a local park, where they will teach basic knowledge about horses, and participants will be able to groom, pet, and feed the horses treats. So, if you’re looking for a fun, affordable summer activity for your team or other group, DreamCatchers has you covered!
The nonprofit DreamCatchers also has expanded their services to include bringing horses to those in need of companionship or emotional support—including people in retirement communities, rehabilitation facilities, after-school and/or mentoring programs, and mental-health and civic organizations, to name a few.
Jodi Freeman founded DreamCatchers Ride in 2018 based on the knowledge that there are many people in Lincoln who have a passion for horses but whose families simply cannot afford the time or financial commitment a horse requires. They provide a safe place where, through learning about equine companionship and care, people can be comfortable and able to express themselves.
