Justin and Jennifer officially kicked off their 5th Annual Coat Campaign to benefit the Peoples City Mission.
Since moving to Lincoln in 2006 to start the Raising Cane’s Franchise, the Joneses have sought to make a difference in the community in which they operate. The first year they raised 330 Coats for the P.C.M. The Coat Drive however has become a staple in Lincoln boasting more than 1,500 coats in 2010 bringing the total amount raised to more than 4,000 coats in 4 years.
In addition to collecting Coats, the Joneses have given an offer to those that help support their cause. When a Coat is donated & you buy a combo, you’ll get the 2nd ABSOLUTLY FREE. In 2010, the Joneses gave away over $10,000 in meals to those that helped their cause.
They have set a goal for 2,000 coats this year.
Residents are asked to bring new and packaged school supplies to the Raising Cane’s location on corner of 48th & R Streets through November 6th.
