Lincoln Chamber Schedules Part Three of Virtual Women in Business for May 13

The Lincoln Chamber of Commerce (lcoc.com) announced that Part 3 of their Virtual Women in Business Series is schedule for May 13 from noon to 1 p.m. via Zoom. The featured speaker will be Dr. Gwen Combs, associate professor of management in the College of Business and director for faculty diversity and inclusion in the Office of the Executive Vice Chancellor at the University of Nebraska Lincoln.

At their core, diversity and inclusion initiatives are not new to the context of work organizations. Many organizations have been attempting to address equity, fairness, and concerns about workforce representation for some time with mixed results and divergent levels of success. In this session, the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce will present and discuss evidence-based practices that have demonstrated and suggest better opportunities for success of organizational diversity and inclusion initiatives.

The Lincoln Chamber serves as Lincoln’s lead business organization championing Lincoln’s innovative, bustling business community. They serve as a convener and collaborator that brings all voices together to grow our city and move it forward! If you want to get to know Lincoln, they would love to show you around!
