NAWIC Announces Annual Golf Tournament on August 24 at Indian Creek Golf Course
The National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC, www.nawicomaha.com) Greater Omaha Chapter 116 and their partner, Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) are excited to announce that their annual golf tournament is back! The tournament will take place on August 24 at Indian Creek Golf Course, located at 3825 N 202nd St. in Elkhorn. All funds raised will benefit construction trade related college scholarships, apprenticeship training, and industry activities supported by NAWIC.
The event has sold out for the last three years so early registration, which is open to the public, is encouraged. Registration for the day of the event begins at 10 a.m., with lunch at 10:30 a.m. and a shotgun start at 11 a.m. Dinner and awards are to follow the end of the tournament.

NAWIC Chapter 116 based in Omaha also encompasses Lincoln, Council Bluffs, and the surrounding areas. First chartered in 1966, the chapter has over 60 members working in businesses whose primary focus is the construction industry. Meetings for the Greater Omaha chapter are on the second Thursday of each month in varied locations and are open to the public.
