Pemberly Place Hires Ashley Benes as Director of Quality and Clinical Education
Pemberly Place (www.pemberlyplace.com) is excited to announce Ashley Benes as their new director of quality and clinical education. Ashley is a registered nurse who started her nursing career as a CNA in high school, and she continued to work as one for two years after graduation in a skilled nursing facility. Ashley then went to St. Elizabeth Hospital where she worked her way through nursing school on the surgical unit. She graduated from the Southeast Community College nursing program in 2009. After graduating nursing school, Ashley learned the nursing trades from many different opportunities in dermatology, home health, and hospice, and then gained more experience in a leadership position as a floor nurse in a skilled facility. Ashley later graduated from Doane University with her bachelor’s degree in nursing and knew that her heart belonged in taking care of the geriatric population.
Ashley currently lives in her hometown of Raymond with her husband and three children. She is a die-hard Beatles fan and lives by a lyric from their song “All You Need is Love”: “There’s nowhere you can be that isn’t where you’re meant to be.”
