Save the Date for HETRA’s Blue Jeans and Dreams Event April 23
Heartland Equine Therapeutic Riding Academy (HETRA) (hetra.org) is excited to tell the community to save the date for their Blue Jeans and Dreams event on Saturday, April 23. This annual fundraiser helps raise money to maintain HETRA’s session fees at a reduced and affordable rate for all HETRA participants, regardless of their financial situation. It also lets HETRA keep their Military & First Responders events free of charge. At the end of the day, they never want to turn someone away from services because of financial reasons – that’s why Blue Jeans and Dreams is so important.
The event will feature a silent auction, whiskey tasting, BBQ dinner, a wine toss, dancing, and more! The event will take place from 5 to 10 p.m. Tickets will go on sale in mid-February. Stay up-to-date on event information by visiting hetra.org, or by reaching out to Angie Connell at AngieC@hetra.org / (402) 359-8830.
HETRA has a mission to improve the quality of life both physically and emotionally for adults and children of all ability levels through equine-assisted activities. Year round, HETRA serves a variety of participants including children and adults with disabilities such as cerebral palsy, spina bifida, muscular dystrophy, TBI, autism, developmental delays, and strokes. HETRA also has robust Veterans and First Responder offerings as well. For more information or to participate or donate, call (402) 359-8830, or visit hetra.org.
