New Generation Construction to Present Hotel Indigo Story at CSI Expo March 10
New Generation Construction (NGC, ngcgroupinc.com) will present “The Hotel Indigo Downtown Omaha Story” at the CSI Expo on Thursday, March 10 at the Scott Conference Center in Omaha. Beginning at 5:15 p.m., NGC’s Senior Project Manager Taylor Shapland, Lead Superintendent Cory Claussen, and Superintendent Ryan Moore will be on stage sharing their experiences from a general contractor’s perspective. This tale will be told from beginning to end with project photos, plus all the nuances, challenges, and solutions the teams and partners contended with to successfully transform the 103-year-old Logan Building in to a historical landmark hotel with modern amenities.
The amazing restoration-preservation of the 95,322-square-foot, 90-room building includes a marble staircase, exterior façade, brick, terra cotta, and patina. New elements include: flooring, carpet, tile, furniture, lighting, drapery, doors, windows, trim, decoration, hardware, television monitors, and sprinkler systems. Hotel Indigo Downtown Omaha is now open and taking reservations.
