The Lincoln Human Resources Management Association (LHRMA, www.lincolnhr.org) has two educational events lined up for September. On September 13, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., LHRMA has organized a Diversity & Inclusion Panel at SCC, Jack J. Huck Continuing Education Center, 301 S 68th St. This program will be hosted both in-person and virtually via video. Anyone who registers for the virtual option will be sent a link to join prior to the program beginning. This is free for current LHRMA members and $25 for non-members. Stay tuned for information on the panelists.
In addition, on September 22 from 8 to 10 a.m., LHRMA will present the Cara Kirsch Special Program – Trends in Compensation & Benefits. This will be held at The Foundry, 211 N 14th St., in the Namia Room. Bagels & Joe coffee will be served. The employment market is a challenge for everyone right now, so LHRMA is offering this opportunity to cover the hottest trends in compensation and benefits. They will utilize the 2021 HRAM & LHRMA Salary and Benefits Survey during this session and examine compensation strategies that attract talent and increase retention. They will incorporate benefit strategies that align your company culture and budgets. There is no fee to attend this program, but attendance is limited to the first 40 members who register.
