Meet Tiffany Quicke, the president for the Tobacco Free Lancaster County coalition (www.tobaccofreelancastercounty.org).
Tell us a little about your business. – The Tobacco Free Lancaster County coalition works collaboratively with many different community partners to help educate the members of Lancaster County on issues related to tobacco and e-cigarette use and exposure. Members of our coalition attend health fairs, community events, and work closely with the school systems in the area. We have four main goals we strive to achieve: influence tobacco related prevention activities, improve community health by education, advocate for policies that reduce tobacco and e-cigarette exposure and engage businesses, agencies, and individuals in prevention activities.
How did you get started in the business? – As a respiratory therapist, I have always had a passion for helping people improve their lung health. In 2016, I had the opportunity to attend the University of Massachusetts Medical School Tobacco Treatment program. After I completed the program, I was contacted by the Tobacco Free Lancaster County coalition to become a member of their task force. A year or so later I was asked to become the president which I happily accepted.
Tell us a little about your family. – My husband Mike is a RN, and we have been married for 18 years. We have two teenage daughters and spend most of our time cheering them on in their various activities.
What is your favorite thing to do on a day off? – I love to have a lazy morning at home drinking coffee, getting massages, and doing some reading.
What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know? – I played high school girls golf.
Who inspires you? – My daughters inspire me. I am in awe of the wonderful young women they are growing into. They make me want to be a better mom/person.

If you could have a super power, what would it be? – Making my house clean itself.
Which talent would you most like to have? – I would love to be able to draw or paint.
If you could choose any other profession to be successful in, what would it be? – I would own a coffee/cupcake shop, something you might see in a Hallmark movie.
What local nonprofit organization(s) are you passionate about or involved with, and are there any special reasons why? – I am passionate about my church, Christ Lincoln-Yankee Hill. My family and I are involved in high school ministry, adult bible study, and various volunteer activities that we assist with. My faith has always been important to me and this is one way I can give back.
