Nearly 40 years after its inception, The Bridge Behavioral Health (thebridgenebraska.org) has updated its vision, mission statement, and core values developed by staff and the Board of Directors.
The Bridge envisions a future where recovery is possible, free from judgement, stigma, and fear. Their new mission states that The Bridge will provide hope and a strong foundation for recovery through substance use treatment and behavioral health intervention. The agency’s core values are:
Dignity — Treat all with heartfelt compassion, grace, and respect, especially in the face of adversity.
Excellence — Provide the highest standard of care through evidence-based practices, individualized approaches, integrity, and honesty.
Collaboration — Build purposeful relationships grounded in cooperation and a shared vision.
Inclusion — Inspire all to feel valued and important in their journey, regardless of circumstances.
The Bridge serves people struggling with substance use and mental health disorders. Their programs include detoxification and medically monitored withdrawal, substance use and mental health respite, residential treatment, and outpatient services.
